With a BEng.Hons and MSc.Eng in Electrical Engineering, Wabo has held various senior leadership roles including General Manager for Engineering at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and Market Advisor at Intelsat.
Renowned tech executive and MC, Wabo was named by ITWeb and Brainstorm as one of the top 100 women in tech in 2025 and top 50 inspiring women in Africa tech.
Her 18 years of experience includes executive at Africa data centres and various senior leadership positions telecommunications and media broadcasting such as MTN, SABC, sentech and Intelsat.
Her depth of experience deploying and monitoring networks across Africa and her passion for AI and data analytics for business intelligence positions Wabo as having the leadership skill set to reset and accelerate Africas digital transformation, while she continues to empower women in ICT and is passionate about building solutions for Africa by Africans.
